Job Recruiters Relying on Social Media

Job Recruiters Relying on Social Media

Job recruiters are increasingly relying on social media while making job selections. A person with just a traditional resume and cover letter might find the application placed at the bottom of the pile whereas the person with a resume from the social media managed to make it to the top. In the same way job recruiters who are basing their appointments from print career ads and web based job boards are also not finding success.
Job recruiters are turning towards search engines, social networks and job aggregation sites rather than go to the conventional job boards. The job recruiters give importance to the digital abilities and candidates with a YouTube introduction or a resume website often get placed above their counterparts.
The job recruiters look to get their posts available on Google and LinkedIn so that they are visible on social media. For the job seekers the skills of multimedia presentations about self are getting more importance. These multimedia presentations could be video resumes, visual CV, social resume or the LinkedIn profile also.
